This program is designed to work with an existing team or a team that is just forming. The program enables teams to improve communication and cooperation, reduce conflict, and increase appreciation for diversity by exploring the nine personality types found in the workplace.
THE NINE PERSONALITY STYLES
During the first phase of the program, participants learn about their personality style through the combination of an Enneagram assessment, small-group exercises, and an introduction to the Enneagram model of personality styles. This session focuses on the motivations and typical behaviors of each personality type, along with topics such as what each type likes and dislikes in others, how they approach problem solving, how they frustrate other people, etc. Participants also learn about typical performance roadblocks for their personality types and learn strategies for overcoming them.
The second part of the program focuses on applying the understanding of the personality and leadership styles to interactions with others.
Our Brené Brown Dare to Lead™ program is conducted by Donna Tallon, a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator (CDTLF). The methodology provides teams with a consistent shared language and better understanding of what courage looks like within their organization, what gets in the way, and how to enhance courage skills. As Brené Brown says, “We have seen the power of collective courage-building by teams and organizations who are willing to do brave work, have tough conversations, and show up with their whole hearts.”
Tallon Consulting Group also creates Team Profiles for groups, which identify every member of the team and their respective Enneagram style. Simple exercises for overcoming common issues – like blind spots and defensive routines – are conducted. Effective communication techniques for the personality types and guidelines for building cooperation among team members are provided.
Our team programs blending Enneagram with Dare to Lead™ can be offered in a number of formats over a period of time, which provide opportunities to work with the material and grow as a unit.
